Alright so get this, this motherfucker has a spot on the motherboard for an m.2 drive with the entire retaining assembly and shit even with the little goddamn screw, but guess what?
No m.2 header!
And yeah I get your gonna hit me with that “its expensive to design new motherboards” and “but you
have the cheaper version of the product” bullshit, but come the fuck on. Most average consumers arent
gonna fuckin slap in an m.2 card and its not like the header is expensive, this is explicity to chop the
balls off this laptop like listen:
A mini sata header is present, probably from prior verisons of this product that had(?) a cd drive,
however the case design makes it impossible to install a disk or a cd reader. Like I guess the grid of
plastic added creates more stability? But why leave that header on and not have the m.2 header? Why
install the cheeky fucking screw if a header is so goddamn expensive?
Speaking of cost cutting measures it came with a spinning motherfucking hard drive in motherfucking
2021.
What the fuck hp ssds arent expensive anymore its not 2011 like shit throw a 250 gb one in call it a
goddamn day.
When I got it from the oldass lady for 70$ it bearly booted due to the amount of HP bullshit shoved into
the windows distro that came with it deadass took 20 min to boot.
Replaced with linux, everything is good, but if I bought this motherfucker for 600$ I woulda been
pissed.
Came with 8 gb ram, which is fine I guess. Added a 16 gb stick cus thats all I could find.
Motherfucking hp locked out the bios so cant change the ram speed or any adjacent settings, which
sucks because the additional 16 gb stick was GAMER ram with HIGH SPEEDS AND SHIT WOAH.
This one is my fault but attempted to overclock the amd mobile chip that doesnt support it, the utility(s)
I used (dont use multiple OC tools at the same time) fucked something in the bios and I can no longer
install windows on this machine, and I dont got the time to figure out the fuck I did. Like the fuckin
recovery tool doesnt even work like this is some creamy tastyass bullshit straight from the pooper like
real fucking stinky juicy shit.
Why the fuck do I keep stepping on my laptops am I like a fuckin drooling retard or some shit liek fuck
the screens all fucked.
In conclusion, hp manufactures hardware and people buy it. Thats cool I guess.
This laptop has served me well and has taken a decently unpleasent amount of abuse, and will continue
to do so untill I inevitibly kill it.
